Who I am...
I’m Israel Amenfia, popularly known as 'MeMPHiS', a native of Agbozume in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana, who moved to Accra several years ago to seek greener pastures. Currently, I work as a utility regulator in the Water Services and Performance Monitoring Directorate of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ghana. I am also a PhD student at the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability (CCCS) of the University of Ghana, Legon, where I am undertaking coursework in the hope of obtaining a Doctorate in Climate Change and Sustainable Development. I love to engage on sustainability issues particularly those pertaining to urban water supply, regulation, green economy, etc. I see myself as an emerging advocate for drinking water sustainability, environmental and climate issues, community development practices. Apart from public service where I spend most of my time, I also do some research and have begun putting out content for the general public. Connect with my social media pages for more 🙂
